Anya Taylor-Joy

Allya Taylor Joy was born April 16 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish as well as English heritage. Her mother's heritage is Spanish and English. She was the first born of a household of six children. Four are her siblings from the previous marriage to Taylor's dad. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, after which the family relocated from the city of Victoria within London. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatic and that she was unable to learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House, a school in the same district as Northlands was required to enroll her. Then she went to Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. After she turned 16, she left school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to become an actor. As a teenager, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the opportunity to become a model.
