Lisa Edelstein has been an American actor for more than twenty years. Most well-known is for her performance on House on Fox. Growing up in Wayne with a strict Jewish tradition, she moved into New York City at the age of 18 and began studying theater at Tisch School of Arts. The school was very active with club culture and caused enough controversy to attract the media's attention. Then she used her experience along with her fame and training to compose and write the musical Positive Me and was also in the film. In the following year she was recruited by MTV to host Awake On The Wild Side. Once Awake on the Wild Side was no longer running, she started acting in movies and television, first with small roles. Gradually, her career as an actor increased.
